Cost
What does sell-out reporting actually cost?
The invoice is the easy part. The expensive part is the days that never appear on one.
Brands usually discover the cost of reseller reporting by accident — a founder notices that the same senior person disappears for the first week of every month.
Here is the arithmetic laid out, so the comparison is between real numbers rather than between a price and a habit.
The hidden line
What the manual month actually costs
The brands we work with were spending somewhere between two and five working days a month on collection, cleaning and matching before anything could be analysed. At a loaded cost for a commercial or operations manager, that is a four-figure monthly expense that never gets budgeted.
It is also the wrong person doing it. The people who can interpret sell-out data are the people whose month is being consumed by preparing it.
And it arrives late. A close that lands on the 20th describes a month you can no longer act on.
Side by side
Four ways to pay for the same outcome
| Option | Typical monthly cost | What you still do |
|---|---|---|
| Do it internally | Two to five days of senior time | Chase files, decode formats, match SKUs, rebuild the spreadsheet |
| BI tool and licences | Licence fees plus implementation | All of the cleaning, before the tool is any use |
| Part-time analyst | €2,000–4,000 | Manage, cover holidays, absorb the knowledge loss when they leave |
| Done-for-you close | €750 base + €75 per reseller | Forward the files. Read the report. |
A brand with eight reporting partners pays €1,350 a month for the done-for-you close — setup and full historical backfill included, no implementation project.
What is included
What the monthly fee covers
- Setup of all your resellers, and full historical backfill of the data you already hold.
- A finished month: the report in your inbox on a fixed date.
- That month of data, ERP-ready, in your systems.
- Continuous anomaly watch, flagged as it happens rather than at month-end.
- Your login for performance views, exports, questions and adding products.
- Ad-hoc questions and small requests, within reason.
Common questions
Questions brands ask before they hand this over
How much does sell-out reporting cost per month?
TaskifAI is €750 per month base plus €75 per reseller per month, with setup and full historical backfill included. A brand with eight reporting partners pays €1,350 a month. Brands with more than 30 resellers are priced individually.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup of your resellers and the full historical backfill are included in the monthly price rather than billed as an implementation project.
How does that compare to hiring an analyst?
Part-time analyst capacity in Europe typically runs €2,000–4,000 a month, and you still carry management, holiday cover and the risk of the knowledge leaving with the person.
What happens if we add a reseller mid-contract?
No fee to add one. The price increases by €75 per month from the month that reseller is added.
What is not included?
Genuinely custom analysis work is quoted separately, so the monthly price stays honest rather than absorbing open-ended project work.
Price it against one reorder you did not make in time, or one production run sized from a number that arrived three weeks late. That is the comparison that matters.
Pricing
One offer. Priced by the size of your problem.
One service, one published formula, no quote to negotiate. The base covers the parts that stay the same no matter how many resellers you have: running your month, writing the report, watching for anomalies, and your login. The per-reseller rate covers the part that grows: every extra format we have to read, maintain and watch.

Included, always
- Setup of all your resellers
- Full historical backfill — all the data you have
- A finished month, with the report in your inbox
- That month of data, ERP-ready
- Continuous anomaly watch, flagged as it happens
- Your login: performance views, exports, questions, and adding new products
- Ad-hoc questions and small requests, within reason
- New reseller later: no fee, +€75/month from the month added
Quoted separately, so the price above stays honest: genuinely custom analysis projects, and data that needs manual re-keying (scans, images).
If you pay for the year
You get 12 months for the price of 11, plus a yearly review where we sit down and walk you through what your numbers actually did.
Where the price sits
On our estimate, a 20-reseller brand spends 10 to 15 hours a month on this, in spreadsheets that still carry human error into reorder decisions. The realistic alternative is part-time analyst capacity at €2–4,000 a month. One reorder you don't get wrong pays for the year.
